Prevention is a community effort. Join the Coalition in an effort to raise understanding of addiction and aid in the efforts of reducing substance use.
2021 Summerfest Baby Contest
WHEN:
Saturday, July 17, 2021 10 am - 1:30 pm
WHERE:
Old Smokey City Park Lions Pavilion
OPEN TO REED-CUSTER DISTRICT 255U RESIDENTS ONLY
Age Categories: 0-3 months, 4-7 months, 8-11 months, 12-15 months, 16-19 months, 20-24 months, and Twins/Multiples ages 0-24 months
Judging: Children will be judged on personality, appearance and general disposition.
Winners:
- First Place winners will receive a trophy, a 1st Place ribbon, and a certificate of participation.
- Second & Third Place winners will receive a winner ribbon and a certificate of participation.
- All other entries will receive certificates of participation along with a participant ribbon.
- First place winners from each age category will also receive a spot to ride on a Baby Contest
Winners float in the Summerfest parade the following day. (Arrive by 12:30 at Lions Pavilion in
City Park to ride float to line up point on Mitchell St. Parade steps off Sunday, July 18th at 1:00
p.m. Float will return you to the Lions Pavilion.)

All entries must be received before midnight Friday, July 9, 2021. No late entries or sign-ups on the day of the contest will be accepted.
The Braidwood Area Healthy Community Coalition and the Braidwood Lions Club will not be held responsible for lost or misdirected mail.
Check In & Judging Schedule:
To assure the safety of our contestants and spectators, we are staggering the Check In and Judging times this year.
0 - 3 mos: Check in: 9:45 AM - Judging 10-10:30 AM
4 - 7 mos: Check In 10:15 AM - Judging 10:30-11 AM
8 - 11 mos: Check In 10:45 AM - Judging 11-11:30 AM
12 - 15 mos: Check In 11:15 AM - Judging 11:30 AM-12 PM
16-19 mos: Check In 11:45 AM - Judging 12-12:30 PM
20-24 mos: Check In 12:15 PM - Judging 12:30-1 PM
Twins/Multiples: Check In 12:45 PM - Judging 1-1:30 PM
Remember: Proof of residency in the Reed-Custer School District will be required at time of Check In (ie. Driver's license, utility bill, rent receipt, water bill, etc.)
